Tai Chi Teacher, Fascia‑Focused Movement Guide, and Founder of Vintage Vitality™
If you’ve searched for “Nelda Rodillo,” “Vintage Vitality™,” or “Tai Chi in Palmerston / Mount Forest / Fergus,” you may be wondering who I am and what I teach. I’m a wellness educator, Tai Chi instructor, and movement guide based in Ontario, Canada — and my work centers on helping adults move with ease, calm, and confidence.
This is my story, and the heart behind Vintage Vitality™.
My journey into wellness began long before I ever taught a class.
Working in long‑term care, I witnessed firsthand how stress, aging, trauma, and chronic tension affect the body. I saw how people needed movement that was:
safe
gentle
accessible
calming
fascia‑friendly
My mother — a respected community leader in the Philippines — taught me that service is a lifelong calling. Her influence shaped the way I teach today: with humility, compassion, and a deep respect for every person who steps into my classes.
When I found Tai Chi, something shifted.
The slow spirals, the breath‑led movements, the softness — it felt like a return to myself.
Tai Chi became the foundation of my teaching because it supports:
adults 50+
people living with chronic stress
caregivers
individuals healing from trauma
anyone seeking calm and grounding
It is movement that meets you where you are.
Vintage Vitality™ is my signature approach to wellness.
It’s built on one belief:
Aging is not decline — it is refinement.
Through Vintage Vitality™, I teach:
Gentle Tai Chi
Fascia‑focused Tai Chi
Qigong
Chair Yoga
Resilience‑based movement
Daily Unfreezing Rotations
Every class is designed to help adults move with ease, reduce stress, and reconnect with their bodies.
Fascia — the body’s connective tissue network — is often the missing link in mobility, pain, and emotional tension.
As I deepened my studies, I realized:
Tai Chi hydrates fascia
gentle spirals unwind tension
slow weight shifts restore mobility
breath‑led movement calms the nervous system
This is why so many of my students say:
“I feel lighter.”
“My joints don’t hurt as much.”
“I can breathe again.”
Fascia is where transformation begins.
I teach in several communities across Ontario, including:
Palmerston
Mount Forest
Harriston
Drayton
Fergus
Hanover
My classes welcome:
seniors
caregivers
adults with varying abilities
community groups
wellness seekers
young women navigating life transitions
Each group teaches me something new about resilience and openness.
Recently, I taught a Gentle Tai Chi session in a beautiful yoga studio in Fergus.
The participants were young women — open, curious, and ready to try something new. We practiced:
Unfreezing Rotations
Shibashi Qigong
Sun‑Style Tai Chi (Opening, Single Whip, Wave Hands Like Clouds)
Their willingness to be present moved me deeply.
I left feeling grateful — and hopeful that this one session might become many.
I teach because:
movement can change a life
calm is contagious
people deserve to feel safe in their bodies
aging can be vibrant and joyful
gentle movement is powerful movement
Every time someone tells me,
“I feel better,”
I know I’m exactly where I’m meant to be.
A Tai Chi teacher.
A fascia‑focused movement guide.
A wellness educator.
A lifelong learner.
A woman who believes in the healing power of gentleness.
And the founder of Vintage Vitality™ — a space where people can move, breathe, soften, and begin again.
