Multi-agency wellness sessions introducing gentle Tai Chi for stress reduction, grounding, and functional movement.
I am thrilled to announce a large-scale wellness initiative in partnership with Cavite State University. Over the next month, I will be leading 638 students from the BS Criminology (BSC) and BS in Industrial Security Management (BSISM) programs through specialized Tai Chi and mindful movement sessions.
In these high-pressure fields of study, mental discipline and physical grounding are essential. This program introduces future leaders to:
Stress Reduction & Emotional Regulation: Breathwork and movement to manage high-stakes environments.
Tactical Balance & Focus: Improving situational awareness through Sun-style Tai Chi principles.
Resilient Leadership: Cultivating the 'calm within the storm' necessary for careers in security and law enforcement.

Join me for a gentle and refreshing Taichi Practice Set on March 25, 2026, from 9–10 AM at the United Church in Palmerston. This will be my first and last class in Palmerston this winter, and I would love to share this hour of mindful movement with you.
If you are new to Tai Chi, this class will be a wonderful introduction to slow, flowing movements that support balance, relaxation, and overall wellbeing. If you joined my fall classes, this is a perfect opportunity to come back, reconnect, and review the movements we practiced together.
Taichi is simple, calming, and suitable for all levels. We move gently, breathe deeply, and enjoy the quiet strength that comes from moving with awareness.

This educational wellness session introduced older adults to the physical and mental health benefits of Tai Chi, with a focus on improving balance, mobility, fall prevention, relaxation, and overall well-being through gentle, accessible movement.
Participants learned how Tai Chi can support healthy aging by enhancing stability, reducing stress, and promoting greater body awareness in a safe and supportive community environment.
Nelda Rodillo was invited to lead a "Try-It Tai Chi" workshop as part of the Health & Connection Fair hosted by the Seniors' Centre for Excellence.
This community event brought together health professionals, service organizations, and wellness educators to support the well-being of older adults across the region.
Participants experienced a gentle introduction to Tai Chi through guided movement and learned how mindful, low-impact practice may support balance, mobility, and fall prevention.
The session was open to seniors of all experience levels and emphasized safe, accessible movement that can be practiced seated or standing.
This introductory Tai Chi session was offered in partnership with the Seniors’ Centre for Excellence as part of the Culture Days celebration in the Town of Minto.
Participants were introduced to the foundations of Tai Chi through a gentle demonstration and guided practice. The session explored how mindful movement can support balance, bone health, and fall prevention in a safe and accessible way.
No prior experience was required, and all movements were adapted to support beginners and participants with limited mobility.
A planned co-presentation for the Harriston Dining Program focused on supporting older adults’ social connection and emotional well-being through shared cultural traditions and storytelling. The event was cancelled due to weather.

This small-group session was designed to restore energy, improve balance and flexibility, and support relaxation through accessible mindful movement practices including Shibashi Qigong and Five Elements Tai Chi.
An outdoor community Tai Chi gathering planned at Palmerston Park as an opportunity for gentle movement, connection, and shared mindful practice. This informal session was designed to support balance, relaxation, and confidence in a welcoming, no-cost environment.
A community Tai Chi workshop offered during the Minto Farmer's Market at the Palmerston Railway Heritage Museum. This all-ages session introduced gentle foundational Tai Chi movements to support balance, mobility, and relaxation in an accessible outdoor setting.
