In this full demonstration, I share a gentle and flowing Tai Chi sequence with the members of the Ginintuang Binhi Elderly Association—a vibrant community that embodies active aging, connection, and joy.
This practice features elements from Sun Style Tai Chi and Yang Style Tai Chi foundations, both known for their accessibility, smooth transitions, and ability to support balance, coordination, and overall well-being.
Filmed during a special gathering in Bacoor, Cavite, this session highlights how gentle Tai Chi for seniors can be practiced safely in a group setting—creating not only physical benefits, but also a deep sense of community and shared experience.

There are moments in life that feel like everything has come full circle — and today was one of them.
I had the honor of demonstrating Tai Chi for seniors at the General Assembly of the Ginintuang Binhi Elderly Association, a community that is deeply close to my heart. This organization was founded by my parents nearly 20 years ago, beginning with simple gatherings in our humble home in Bacoor, Cavite.
What started as a small group has now grown into a thriving, supportive community of 81 members — 77 of whom were present today.
For nearly three hours, the room was filled with life.
There was singing, dancing, and joyful birthday celebrations for members born in April. The atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and full of energy. There was food shared generously, laughter echoing through the space, and heartfelt hugs exchanged without hesitation.
This is more than just an elderly association.
It is a living example of active aging, community wellness, and meaningful connection.
From those early days in our family home to now having their own office space and facilities, Ginintuang Binhi reflects what happens when people come together consistently with care and purpose.
Sharing Tai Chi: Honoring Tradition and Supporting Healthy Aging
During the assembly, I shared both Sun Style Tai Chi — known for its gentle, flowing movements — and Yang Style Tai Chi Foundations, which build strength, balance, and coordination.
These practices are especially powerful for older adults because they support:
Balance and fall prevention
Joint mobility and flexibility
Mental clarity and relaxation
Overall well-being through gentle movement
It was a humbling experience to guide them through these movements, knowing I was not just teaching — but continuing something my parents started many years ago.
Introducing Vintage Vitality™ : Gentle Movement for Lifelong Health
Starting Monday, I will begin offering Vintage Vitality™ sessions to members who wish to continue.
Vintage Vitality™ is my approach to gentle movement for healthy aging, combining Tai Chi principles, mindful movement, and accessible practices that meet each person where they are.
The goal is simple:
To help individuals stay strong, mobile, and connected — physically, mentally, and socially.
Why this matters
Today reminded me that movement is more than exercise.
It is connection.
It is joy.
It is belonging.
And sometimes, it brings you back to your roots — with a deeper sense of gratitude and purpose.
I am truly honored to serve this community.
